Presented by UW Dept. of Music and Table & Chairs Music. A thriving student group from the UW brings together local talent and internationally acclaimed artists for IMPfest III: a yearly celebration of new, improvisation-focused music pairing local up-and-coming avant-music visionaries with some of the world’s top performers. Tonight’s concert features Juan Pampin & Matt Ingalls, Psychoangelo, and Troon.
Each month, Nonsequitur and a community of like-minded organizations and artists present ten concerts of adventurous and experimental music in the gorgeous Chapel Performance Space at the Good Shepherd Center: contemporary/post-classical composition, free improvisation and the outer limits of jazz, electronic/electroacoustic music, new instruments, phonography, sound art, and other innovative musics.
