Charles Buckingham and Vance Galloway present works encouraging active listening and contemplation of our shifting perceptions of time. No video: the scene behind your closed eyelids will serve as your only visual aid. Field recordings, electronic and acoustic guitar, radio interference, and signals from long-deceased stars are sources for extensive mixing and signal processing.
Each month, Nonsequitur and a community of like-minded organizations and artists present ten concerts of adventurous and experimental music in the gorgeous Chapel Performance Space at the Good Shepherd Center: contemporary/post-classical composition, free improvisation and the outer limits of jazz, electronic/electroacoustic music, new instruments, phonography, sound art, and other innovative musics.
