A bi-annual forum for Seattle artists from a variety of disciplines to show work without the pressures of more formal venues, and to enjoy inter-disciplinary dialog. This edition includes dancers Yoko Murao, Kathryn Hightower, Marissa Rae Niederhauser, Christy Fisher, NorthWest Dance Syndrome, and Sheri Brown; composers/musicians Rosalynn De Roos, Jah Breeze, Dean Moore; and visual artists Janice Fournier and Betty Hageman.
Each month, Nonsequitur and a community of like-minded organizations and artists present ten concerts of adventurous and experimental music in the gorgeous Chapel Performance Space at the Good Shepherd Center (which sits on the traditional homelands of the Duwamish people): contemporary/post-classical composition, free improvisation and the outer limits of jazz, electronic/electroacoustic music, new instruments, phonography, sound art, and other innovative musics.
