miniBOS

miniBOS is a Seattle-based chamber-prog quartet making bold, rhythmically driven instrumental music that is both meticulously crafted and completely alive. Led by guitarist and composer Andrew Boscardin, the band draws from post-rock, new music, art rock, and creative improvisation to build songs from interlocking patterns, layered textures, and wide dynamic shifts.

The band features Rebekah Ko on mallet percussion, Mack Grout on keyboards, and Evan Woodle on drums.

Together, miniBOS creates music that feels vivid, playful, and immersive, balancing tight ensemble interplay with the thrill of the unknown. Fans of post-rock, progressive music, and adventurous instrumental music may hear echoes of King Crimson’s rhythmic precision, Brian Eno’s collaborations with Cluster and Harmonia, and Yarn/Wire’s sonic experimentation. But miniBOS ultimately sounds like itself: dynamic, collaborative, and always in motion.
