Subtext Reading Series: Bethany Wright has authored three chapbooks, including Indeed, Insist (a mystery) (Ugly Duckling). She is a co-founder of FO(A)RM magazine and currently teaches English, art theory, and time-based arts at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland. Roberta Olson has two published chapbooks, All These Fair and Flagrant Things (etherdome press) and Some Numerous Dwarf Rippings (2007, Flash+Card press).
About
Each month, Nonsequitur and a community of like-minded organizations and artists present ten concerts of adventurous and experimental music in the gorgeous Chapel Performance Space at the Good Shepherd Center (which sits on the traditional homelands of the Duwamish people): contemporary/post-classical composition, free improvisation and the outer limits of jazz, electronic/electroacoustic music, new instruments, phonography, sound art, and other innovative musics.
