Join us for an evening of music by the great late saxophonist Steve Lacy, performed by two quartets. One quartet is led by Tom Varner and Eric Barber, featuring John Seman on bass and Tom Zgonc on drums. The second quartet is lead by Kate Olson and Naomi Siegel. It will be a GREAT night of music.
Each month, Nonsequitur and a community of like-minded organizations and artists present ten concerts of adventurous and experimental music in the gorgeous Chapel Performance Space at the Good Shepherd Center (which sits on the traditional homelands of the Duwamish people): contemporary/post-classical composition, free improvisation and the outer limits of jazz, electronic/electroacoustic music, new instruments, phonography, sound art, and other innovative musics.
